Checklist When Booking for a Luxury Villa

So, you’ve decided that you need some time off and spend it with your family and friends, and it so happens that someone told you that Bali is the best destination, which made you decide that this is going to be your vacation destination. How are the plans going so far? Did you know that you could save on accommodation and even get to have some more fun if you choose to book in one of the best villas in Bali instead of some cramped hotel room? Before you do, here’s a checklist if you want to stay one:

  1. See if the rates mentioned already include taxes and other service charges.

While the posted prices may look cheap from their website, there could be more to the story that you are not privy to. Some Bali luxury villas do not post the taxes and other service charges. So, before booking for one, you should be calling or emailing them about it to confirm the real rates.

  1. Check if it’s situated in a nice location.

Nusa Dua resort in Bali IndonesiaIt’s a business after all. Most, if not all, will tell you that their luxury Bali villas are in an ideal location. Check it out for yourself. Google’s Maps would come in really handy in here. Ideally, you would want a villa that’s near the center so that you won’t have any problem if you want to go shopping for souvenirs or sightseeing later. Of course, it would be a different story if you wanted to go recluse.

  1. Do check out the age of the villas and reviews.

Some of those that claim that they are among the best villas in Bali have outdated buildings that are in need of renovation. There is nothing wrong with old buildings if these were properly maintained. However, it could become problematic if this wasn’t, which could make it smell really old or moldy even. Just to be on the safe side, do check out reviews from real customers that you can easily find online.

  1. Make sure that the staff can speak in English.

Most Bali holiday villas have some employees who are supposed to take care of your needs. This would be pointless though if you will encounter communication issues being a foreigner and all. Call the villa and ask if their staff speaks in English.

Now that you know that the best villas in Bali are the best places to stay in this area while on a vacation, all that’s left is to book one, get on the plane, bring your family and friends, and then have some loads of fun!
